Swiss board certified in general surgery and visceral surgery
I am a Swiss board certified visceral surgeon. I underwent specialized training in general and visceral surgery in University hospitals and large public and private hospitals in Switzerland. After more than 12 years of surgical training I opened my private surgical practice in Zürich.
All patients are treated pesonally by myself from the first contact to the surgery and the final controls. I treat patients from all insurance classes equally.

We focus our work on a very specific field in visceral surgery. Our believe is, that a high level of specialization results in better outcome for our patients. With more than 18 years of experience in specialized visceral surgery and continuous training and education we provide excellent quality for our patients.
Hernia surgery
We are specialized in open, laparoscopic and robotic hernia surgery. With more than 250 hernia surgeries performed per year, mainly laparoscopic and robotic, we are among the most active hernia surgeons in Switzerland with one of the highest case volumes for a single surgeon.
Surgery for rectus diastasis
We offer an exclusive, minimally invasive surgical technique for the treatment of rectus diastasis. Only minimal incisions are necessary and no visible scars remain. This while achieving optimal functional and cosmetic results. With more than 50 surgeries performed per year we offer the highest experience in this surgical field.
Reflux surgery
We offer minimally invasive treatment for acid reflux (Gastro-esophageal reflux disease GERD). Depending on the individual situation of the patient we offer a classic fundoplication (Toupet) or the new RefluxStop operation. We offer Re-Do surgery and revisions in complex cases or after failed prior surgery also.
General abdominal surgery
We offer surgery for gallstones (Cholecystectomy, bile-duct surgery), intestinal obstruction oder adhesions, obesity (gastric bypass and Sleeve), and more. Whenever possible we perform our surgeries laparoscopically.
Colorectal surgery
We offer the full spectrum of colorectal surgery for benign and malignant diseases (Diverticulitis, Fistula, rectal prolapse, colorectal cancer, Morbus Crohn, Colitis ulcers etc.). Whenever possible we perform our surgeries laparoscopically.
Cancer surgery
We offer surgical treatment for colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, cancer of the small intestine, peritoneal cancer, ovarian cancer, appendiceal cancer and metastatic or recurrent cancer in the abdomen.
Cosmetic surgery
We offer a selection of cosmetic surgeries including abdominoplasty, correction of scars, breast augmentation with implants.
